How I spent my days before and slightly after christmas.
Ok so most of the nights before christmas were busy as hell. Carolling and such but most of the nights seemed to end just nice enough for Joven and I to play a few rounds of Night of the Dead.
Joven spent like 4 days at my house from Friday to Monday. It was fun to have one of my brothers around. Even more so when brother Brennan was over on sunday. We played NOTD together and invited Guo Sheng via Hamachi. However...idiocy strikes, he killed us all with a rocket launcher which he was supposed to pass to me -_- lol.. long story.
Anyway 24th of December was a mad scramble to finish the christmas shopping. I went out with Joven to Novena square on a mad hunt for sponge bob and patrick. I did find a sponge bob small enough to buy but unfortunately Patricks were made only in one size. Gigantic lol.
I got Joven a pair of speakers at 29.90. He owes me $10 because i told him it would only be $20.
This year almost everyone got a prezzie at above $20 or slightly under.
I really spent alot of cash...about $300 for christmas. Not forgetting the amount of man hours it took to make the cards that brother Joven helped me with.
Regardless, Christmas day came and went. Spent the night at the Wong's place after a night of WC3 games lol. A 6 person lan party WEE!!!...
Carolling at the end of it all, seems slightly more difficult this year. With alot of emphasis on quality rather then jsut being able to play. It wasn't too difficult to manage this year with two improvised solos which I had to experiment and test out. All turned out well and carolling was a success. I can't remember how many I must say.
Anyway now for some photos from the past few days.

Wednesday, December 19, 2007Long absence
I've been real busy doing alot of things these days. Preparing scores, going for band prac and all sorts of stuff that I really couldn't find time to do a simple update even a short one...
Anyway the past few days has been fun I must say. Apart from running around so much on Tuesday due to multiple band practices and choir practice. BPS alumni in the morning, NP band in the afternoon and choir by night. Its not exactly easy to manage the time.
Today's sectionals with Cindy was not fantastic and I think we were a disappointment today. I could sense anger if there was anyway.
After the last of the day's events I waited for Gary but at the right moment as Joshua wanted me to ask the girls if they were interested in makaning at KAP. As i was going to move up the stairs, they came down with their stuff. In the end we didn't go with Josh anyway. I took a 74 home and had a short chat with Karmen till she got off at her stop. When I reached Mac Ritchie, I met Olga at the bus stop and had a short chat with her too. Then was a ridiculously long wait for another bus, either 52 or 162 and neither came within the next 10 minutes and had to deal with the boredom.
About last Saturday's carolling. It was swell of course and I must say it was a good experience. I have photographs of the vivo city performance but I just haven't edited them yet. So yeah I can't put them up. Ok thats all for the night...

Friday, December 14, 2007Why is everyone...
Everyone's falling sick sigh..why i wonder...
Well...Stats was easy...Org Chem...shit man....what the hell is PCC, throughout the whole paper i kept asking myself Phua Chu Cheng does what...lol...
I met Clarisse at the bus stop or more like on the way to the bus stop. She walked kinda slow judging that F01 left the exam venue like 5 or 10 mins after she did yet I arrived at the bus stop with her. Had a little idle banter about the test and infocomm and her bus came and she went off. So i sat around waiting for that lovely 52....didn't have to wait too long...
Spent the afternoon playing Civ 4, went to church, Joven is sick darn...get well soon man...had musician's practice none too fruitful at all. Carolling pract was not bad....but could be alot better. I think we sounded best on Tuesday.

Ok this i took while i was at tHE conference. People were like all jumping around and dancing to the PnW songs. I'm very unparty like so I didn't really do much. Well yeah. I had a very long talk with Candel before the conference began. Nice hearing from ya.

Tuesday, December 11, 2007D Day +2
So we started the common test yesterday. No major fighting took place but we fought the damn paper and I can scarcely say victory, I won't score well but at the very least i'll pass (defeats the purpose though). Today its stats. I feel alot more safer tackling a subject which I can actually tackle on paper instead of reading it. I just hope good fortune will be bestowed on me and let me pwn the paper...(pwn = total victory, totally humiliate, Various terms)
Let's just see how it goes along.....

Sunday, December 09, 2007Late nights with classical music
Well I tried studying with the help of classical music. I won't say its helping much because every time I hear a good tone on the flute coming through, I keep longing to obtain that tone. Its just so hard to get one of those man. Something money can't buy. Sigh…
I don't know suddenly I've taken a liking to classical music again. No idea why. Just that it seems appealing now.
Civ 4 folder has like loads of classical in it…just sounds fab….ah..I want to upload those pictures soon but real lazy…should sleep soon though…mass in the morning.

Friday, December 07, 2007Another lapse?
Ok been real tired, busy and what not..perhaps lazy as well to update but never mind here goes.
On Saturday the stove blew up and shattered injuring Gaya slightly in the foot. With no stove it meant that we would not have cooked food for the next 3 days.
We ate cup noodles for brunch at around 5 and went to the craving thoughts cafe for dinner. On Sunday mass was alright....I guess...Carolling pract...wedding pract. It seems we're in trouble cause we're missing too many practices or not having our full compliment. So thats a major problem...and gee cletus's wedding is TOMMOROW!
Monday band pract was ok.....but my practical is a failure I'm so doomed. It was a bloody aldehyde but i thought it was a carboxylic acid....how shitty is that....
Tuesday was ok...carolling. We were missing liz because she was sick. That day sounded kinda weird...
Thursday. Good band prac..i swear intonation is getting better. I was at school for like only 1 hour then stone till 5.15.
Friday o well today...ComT and Sax lesson. Dad get's his BMW 7 Series today. He seems eager for it judging as how he was pressurizing the company yesterday since it was due to come on Wednesday.
Ok I've gotta go see Wee Yang in hospital later. Hope he's alright.
